| Résumé : |
Our work is a contribution to the non-destructive testing of carbon fiber composites (CFCM) by eddy current technique. On the theoretical side, we propose a formulation able to emulate the electromagnetic behavior of MCFC while allowing a gain in the computational costs, since we mesh only the conductive parts, in this case, the fibers. To build automatically the fibers geometry, we proposed a technique based on microscopic images and the "Bubble-mesh" algorithm. Thus, a simulation at the fiber scale is possible. On the practical side, we propose a new multi-element sensor based on triangular coils capable of shaping the EM field to configurations similar to a rotating rectangular coil. These different configurations of the EM field are electronically controlled which avoids mechanical rotation and induced vibrations. As a result, the sensor is robust, fast and accurate. The last part of the work was dedicated to eddy current imaging using the theoretical and practical tools we have developed. |
